Clear Joe Jackson Now!!

Breaking News!

Organizations in Cleveland supporting Joe Jackson's reinstatement to Major League Baseball have planned a news conference for Saturday, September 12, to include a conception of a campaign aimed at clearing the name of Shoeless Joe Jackson and lifting the ban that keeps him out of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

The League Park Society and the Cleveland Blues are among a coalition of organizations aimed at clearing the name of the baseball legend. The press conference will take place at historic League Park in Cleveland where Shoeless Joe played during his 5-year stint with the Naps. While in Cleveland, Joe lived two blocks from League Park and walked to the park for each home game. The League Park Society is exploring the possibility of purchasing or leasing the lot on which Jackson's home was located and turning it into a small memorial park, as well.

Those groups, along with the Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum in Greenville, SC, and the Shoeless Joe Jackson Virtual Hall of Fame, will be sponsoring a process in which fans can express their support of Joe Jackson.
